ANNE MARSDEN, THE MAYOR AND CEO BURLINGTON AND HALTON NEEDS
Anne and husband Dave`s interest in youth from before they were married (leaders of the Stockton Co-op Junior Youth Club), Cyclepath`s National BMX Team Manager in the early 90`s story tellers at Central Kindergarten and Vacation Bible School, Chair of the Indoor BMX Development Project, clearly define her interest in youth and family well-being and recreation programmes.
It is Anne`s intention as Mayor to form a Youth and Family Council to promote safe and healthy recreation programs for bikers/skateboarders/roller bladers and scooter users. Winter and summer beginners to Olympians must have their recreation needs safely met. Other municipalities have this covered. Anne will work hard to make sure Burlington does too.
As Mayor, Anne can represent the families and businesses of Burlington to ensure accountability for those responsible for the largest infectious disease outbreak in Ontario in terms of deaths that occurred at Joseph Brant, Burlington. See On Bryant`s Watch Alerts Page of marsdens.ca. It is not good health care practice to ever forget these Burlington victims of a hospital board, senior management team and Office of the Chief Coroner who failed to act as legislation required.
